Founded in 2024 at Vidyanagari Campus, Kambare — on the Shahapur–Kinhavali Road in Thane district — Kama Medical College brings professional healthcare education to the Shahapur region. The institution was established by a family rooted in Shahapur's farming community, with a single aim: that students here should not have to leave home to build a career in healthcare.
With an experienced pool of faculty, department-wise laboratories, a well-stocked library and its own transport, the college pairs classroom programmes with regular quizzes, group discussions and hands-on practice.
Audio-visual teaching in every programme — instructors use digital projectors and computer-based lessons to make subjects interactive.
Text books, reference books and encyclopedias published in India and abroad, with space for seminar and conference preparation.
Spacious, well-equipped laboratories for each department, so practical skills develop alongside theory from day one.
College transport takes students for hospital visits and clinical training, connecting coursework to real patients and practice.
An on-campus girls' hostel with mess halls serving North and South Indian food, wardens on duty and 24-hour security.
Cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, kabaddi, kho-kho and athletics — plus indoor games, cultural events and seminars.
