President“We try to create a world through our students that is full of promise and hope.”
Experienced, approachable teachers — led by a management that believes every student deserves to be known by name.
Kama Medical College is led by a team that combines academic administration with a deep personal commitment to the Shahapur region.
“We try to create a world through our students that is full of promise and hope.”
“Advanced studies that keep our students updated in the field of healthcare.”
“All are free to approach me with suggestions — they help us improve the institute and the campus.”
“We share knowledge in a resourceful way, so that our students grow into professionals the nation can rely on.”
Good faculty is the costliest asset a college can build, and the one thing we refuse to compromise on. Kama Medical College draws its teachers from across the country, keeping a deliberate balance of highly qualified and highly experienced faculty in each subject area.
Our course programmes are designed to draw out every student's hidden talent — in academics as much as in extracurricular activities. With a vibrant campus, a friendly management and supportive teaching staff, learning here is a partnership rather than a lecture.
Above all, our teachers are caring and approachable. Every student can walk up to any faculty member with a doubt, a difficulty or an idea — because we believe that openness is the basic ingredient of a professional education.
Teaching at the college is organised around the standard subject areas of pharmacy education, each with its own laboratory and dedicated faculty.
The science of preparing and dispensing medicines — dosage forms, formulation and manufacturing practice, taught with regular laboratory work.
How drugs act on the human body, and how the body responds — the foundation of safe prescribing, patient counselling and clinical practice.
The chemistry of medicinal compounds — their structure, synthesis and analysis — building the analytical skills the industry depends on.
The study of medicines derived from natural sources — plants, herbs and other biological origins — and their identification and standardisation.
These are the core subject areas of the PCI syllabus followed in the D.Pharm and B.Pharm programmes.
A complete, department-wise list of our teaching staff will be published here.
